Rotron Aerospace, LIG Nex1 Sign MoU on UAV Development

Rotron Aerospace has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with LIG Nex1 to collaborate on the development and integration of unmanned aerial systems, including work linked to the Medium UAV Common Platform (MUCP) programme.

The agreement was signed at Rotron’s facility in Dorset and covers cooperation until 2032. It includes potential follow-on projects and opportunities in South Korea and international programmes involving Rotron’s propulsion systems and unmanned platforms.

Under the MoU, the companies plan to combine Rotron’s propulsion technologies with LIG Nex1’s system architecture, integration and testing expertise.
