Air Astana has taken delivery of its second Airbus A321neo. Delivered on June 2, the aircraft offers 179 seats in a two-class layout.
The carrier has ordered a total of 17 32oneo family aircraft. All the aircraft will be delivered within the next two years. Similar to its first one, the second A321neo is also equipped with an in-seat IFE system. The aircraft will be operated on Air Astana’s domestic and international routes including flights to Russia, Georgia, Turkey, UAE, Central Asia and China.
Meanwhile, the airline has launched flights from Astana to two destinations in Russia, Tyumen and Kazan. The Astana – Tyumen route commenced on June 2, and operates three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight is being served by an Embraer E190.
The route linking Astana and Kazan commenced on June 3. The new flight operates on Sundays and will be served by an Airbus A320 and Embraer E190 aircraft.
