Collins Aerospace has landed new contracts to maintain Boeing 787 equipment for All Nippon Airways and nacelles for Air Europa.
The 10-year support agreement by ANA is for its fleet of Boeing 787-8, 787-9 and new 787-10 aircraft, featuring Collins Aerospace’s FlightSense™ program, which the airline has been a customer for the past decade.
Under the terms of the agreement, Collins Aerospace will guarantee availability of assets, through access to a global distribution network, enabling minimized aircraft downtime. This tailored offering provides ANA best-in-class service at a reduced cost.
“Our relationship with All Nippon Airways is growing based on our proven record of outstanding performance, and they continue to be a key customer. We are proud that the largest carrier-owned fleet of B787s continues to entrust us with servicing its fleet,” said Ajay Agrawal, president, Aftermarket Services, Collins Aerospace. “Our customers benefit from our unique capability to deliver products and services through a variety of customized solutions.”
The support service agreement with Air Europa includes lease/exchange services. This long-term agreement extends an existing 10-year service agreement between the two companies where Collins Aerospace will carry on supporting the Airbus A330, Boeing 737, ATR 72 and Embraer E-195 operated by Air Europa and Air Europa Express.
“Our focus is on perfecting the customer experience, and Air Europa’s decision to entrust us with another decade of its service needs tells us that we’re succeeding in that mission,” said Marc Duvall, president, Aerostructures for Collins Aerospace. “As a leading OEM and MRO provider of commercial nacelles, we offer a unique combination of technical expertise and customizable aftermarket services to meet each customer’s needs.”
