Elbit Systems of America has announced that its subsidiary M7 Aerospace LLC, has been awarded an initial order worth US $5 million on a sub-contract from Support Systems Associates, Inc. (“SSAI”) to provide an avionics refresh for the U.S. Air National Guard’s RC-26B fixed-wing aircraft used for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
The total value of the sub-contract could go as high as US$22 million if all options are exercised.

M7 Aerospace will complete the work by 2021 out of its San Antonio, Texas facility.
The contract with SSAI will include avionics engineering, design, integration, modification, test and maintenance for the technically advanced aircraft.
M7 Aerospace, through type certificate ownership, is the original equipment manufacturer of the RC-26B aircraft.
