Israel sent a very tough warning to Lebanon after its sensors identified a new missile manufacturing plant secretly built by Iran and Hezbollah. According to Israeli sources, if the new site in Lebanon does not cease to operate it will be high on the target list.

The message was conveyed through US foreign minister, Mike Pompeo when he visited Lebanon recently after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.

The Americans told the Lebanese government that the existence of the plant is a cause for “sever escalation”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed in September last year the existence of precision missile factories that Hezbollah is building in Lebanon. In his speech at the UN General Assembly, Netanyahu presented three missile manufacturing plants located in Lebanon belonging to Hezbollah: the first is located inside a football stadium where the group affiliated with the organization plays, the second is near the Hariri international airport and the third is in the marina, About 500 meters from the airport landing strip.

Israel in recent years performed over 200 air strikes on Iranian targets in Syria , mainly stockpiles of Iranian rockets and sites where these rocket have been upgraded on their way to the Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel declared many times that it will not allow the Hezbollah to achieve precise missile capability.
