MIAT Mongolian Airlines, the Mongolian national airline, has expanded its power-by-hour (PBH) contract with AJW Group to add its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The contract earlier had full PBH support for its Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft and Boeing 767 aircraft.
To meet the immediate operational needs of MIAT’s MAX aircraft, AJW will station a dedicated main base kit inventory solution in Mongolia. The extended programme will also give MIAT access to AJW’s stock of Boeing spares that is sited for their global route networks across Europe, Central and Eastern Asia.
“AJW’s flexible, reliable and bespoke services have helped us provide excellent service for our customers over the past four years, and we are delighted to extend our PBH agreement with them,” said CEO and Chairman of MIAT Mongolian Airlines, Davaakhuugiin Battur “Their ongoing support had been instrumental in ensuring our fleet performs to its optimum efficiency and punctuality.”
“We are proud of our work alongside MIAT Mongolian Airlines, and we are delighted that they have expanded the remit of their PBH contract with us,” said AJW Group’s President and CEO, Christopher Whiteside “Moving forward, we will continue to invest in the MAX aircraft, and we are excited to leverage our global expertise to secure further PBH contracts supporting this aircraft type.”
