Azul LinhasAereas, a Brazilian airline, has signed a 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive service agreement with Pratt & Whitney for engine maintenance for the airline’s fleet of 51 Embraer E190/E195-E2 aircraft, all using the GTF PW1900G engine.
“With our new fleet of Embraer E190/E195-E2 aircraft, we will realize the economic and environmental advantages of the GTF engine,” said John Rodgerson, CEO at Azul LinhasAereas. “The service agreement with Pratt & Whitney will allow us to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and reliability.”
Azul LinhasAereas is the launch customer for the Embraer E195-E2 aircraft and will receive their first aircraft later this year.
