A teaming agreement has been signed between Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defence Systems Ltd with Romania’s ROMAERO.
ROMAERO is Romania’s largest government-controlled Aerospace & Defense Industry.

We look forward to expanding our presence here and to working with our new partners at ROMAERO as our strategic partner to create new avenues of cooperation with local Romanian industry and suppliers,” said Rafael’s CEO, Major General (ret.) Yoav Har-Even. “This is an essential aspect of our corporate policy and strategy – a dedication to strong, win-win partnerships and long-term collaboration to establish technological advancement, local production and capabilities.”
Under the terms of the new partnership, Rafael and ROMAERO will work together to consolidate local production and knowledge transfer geared towards various Romanian acquisition programs.

Rafael is offering the combat-proven Iron Dome system and SPYDER air defense system, in addition to the C-Dome Naval Air Defense System for Romania’s four new corvettes.
Also being offered by Rafael is the SAMSON 30mm caliber Remote Weapon Station and the brand new SPIKE LR 2 5th generation missile.
