وقع مجلس التوازن الاقتصادي وشركة “الياه سات”، مشغل الأقمار الصناعية الرائد عالمياً ومقره الإمارات، مذكرة تفاهم لتأسيس شركة جديدة لتطوير وتصنيع حلول اتصالات فضائية متقدمة داخل الإمارات، مع التركيز على حماية حقوق الملكية الفكرية محلياً لزيادة الأمن القومي وتطوير التكنولوجيا المتقدمة.
ووقع مذكرة التفاهم عيسى الشامسي، نائب المدير العام لوحدة “الياه سات للخدمات الحكومية “ومطر علي الرميثي الرئيس التنفيذي لوحدة التطوير الاقتصادي في مجلس التوازن الاقتصادي وذلك خلال معرض ومؤتمر الدفاع الدولي “آيدكس 2021”. حضر التوقيع سعادة طارق عبد الرحيم الحوسني، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجلس التوازن الاقتصادي ومصَّبح الكعبي، رئيس مجلس إدارة “الياه سات” ومسعود م. شريف محمود، عضو مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة “الياه سات”.
ستقوم الشركة الجديدة بموجب مذكرة التفاهم هذه بتطوير تقنيات وتصنيع منتجات تتمحور حول ثلاثة مجالات رئيسية هي : تقنيات الاتصالات الفضائية المخصصة لقطاع الطيران وتقنيات أجهزة المودم المتصلة بالأقمار الصناعية علاوة على تمكين منتجات وتقنيات اخرى متخصصة في الاتصالات الفضائية.
وسيتم توظيف المعرفة والخبرات التي قد تم تطويرها في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، كما سيتم استكمالها بالخبراء الدوليين لبناء شركة رائدة عالمياً في هذا المجال. يستلزم المشروع بادئ الأمر تطوير جهاز مودم متصل بالقمر الصناعي مؤَّمن ومتعدد المنصات يلبي الاحتياجات الحكومية والدفاعية محلياً وعالمياً.
وستلعب الياه سات دورا هاماً في ضمان تلبية منتجات الشركة الجديدة لمتطلبات عملائها الحكوميين من خلال استراتيجية منتجات متباينة ومستهدفة، مما يمكّن حكومة الإمارات والمستخدمين محلياً وعالمياً من مناقشة مجالات التطوير التكنولوجية الرئيسية. كما ستعمل على توفير القدرات الرئيسية لتطوير المنتجات من قبل مُطَّورين ومُصَّنعين رائدين بغرض تأسيس خطوط إنتاج محلية وإدارته بشكل متكامل.
وقال مصبّح الكعبي رئيس مجلس إدارة الياه سات ” يؤكد التعاون بين الياه سات وتوازن على المكانة الريادية العالمية لدولة الإمارات في العديد من القطاعات عالية النمو، ونحن فخورون بهذا التعاون الذي من شأنه المساهمة في تسريع وتيرة نمو قطاع الاتصالات عبر الأقمار الصناعية في دولة الإمارات، حيث تضطلع هذه الشراكات بدور مهم في المساهمة بتطوير اقتصاد يواكب الرؤية المستقبلية لدولة الإمارات، ومن هذا المنطلق، فنحن ملتزمون بدعم جهود الشركات التابعة لقطاع “الاستثمار في الامارات” للمساهمة في دفع عجلة هذا التطور”.
وقال سعادة طارق الحوسني ” نسعى في توازن إلى تعزيز مكانة أبوظبي كمركز إقليمي رائد للتقنيات والتصنيع الاستراتيجي. كما نتطلع لفتح آفاق جديدة من خلال تعاوننا مع الياه سات. لقد استطاعت الياه سات في أقل من عشر سنوات ومنذ إطلاق أول أقمارها الصناعية، أن تنمو لتصبح واحدة من شركات الأقمار الصناعية الرائدة في العالم. وبفضل سجل إنجازاتها الحافل، تعد اليوم مصدر فخر لجميع الإماراتيين. سيستفيد مشروعنا الأخير من خبرة “الياه سات” وخدمات الاتصالات التي توفرها، مما سيعزز الابتكار والتطوير التكنولوجي داخل دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.”
وقال علي الهاشمي، الرئيس التنفيذي المعيّن لشركة الياه سات ” من خلال شراكتنا الطويلة مع القوات المسلحة لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والعديد من المبادرات الأخرى، ساهمت الياه سات في تنويع اقتصاد الإمارات ، مما أدى إلى دفع عجلة نموها وفتح الآفاق أمام فرص جديدة. وتماشياً مع رؤية أبوظبي الاقتصادية 2030، نتطلع إلى بدء الإنتاج المحلي لتقنيات الاتصال المتقدمة حتى تتمكن دولة الإمارات من تحقيق أهدافها الوطنية باستقلالية أكبر. نشكر قيادتنا الرشيدة و”توازن” على منحنا هذه الفرصة لتطوير الكوادر الإماراتية بما يخدم نمو القطاع”.
