Aviation services provider AAR has been awarded an US$8,172,220 delivery order (FA8534-22-F-0037) against previously awarded contract FA8534-20-D-0003 for the production of 463L cargo pallets.
The work will be performed in Cadillac, Michigan, and is expected to be completed by July 15 this year.

The 463L USAF design uses a lightweight balsa wood core that continues to provide unparalleled strength-to-weight performance and reliability compared to alternative commercial pallet designs. The pallets are designed to be loaded and off-loaded on a variety of military and commercial aircraft.
