AFI KLM E&M has appointed Tommaso Auriemma as Vice President Sales Asia Pacific as of August 1.
Currently holding the position of CEO at Aerotechnic Industries (ATI), a joint venture between AFI KLM E&M and Royal Air Maroc, Auriemma will succeed Dominik Wiener Silva. In his new role, he will be entrusted with continuing to develop AFI KLM E&M’s commercial presence in Asia-Pacific.
After five years in Singapore as Vice President Sales Asia Pacific, Dominik Wiener Silva will be joining the KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M) management team in Amsterdam.
“I would like to warmly thank Dominik Wiener Silva who has contributed to the dynamism and reputation of AFI KLM E&M in the Asia-Pacific region. Over the past five years, he has achieved many commercial successes, always driven by the partnership mindset that is so fundamental in our MRO business and characteristic of our brand,” said Anne Brachet, EVP Air France-KLM Engineering & Maintenance.
“I am fully confident that Tommaso Auriemma will continue to develop our presence in this fast-paced and dynamic region, where AFI KLM E&M has many assets. He will be able to rely on the extensive MRO expertise of the Air France-KLM Group backed by a powerful local network of subsidiaries and joint ventures,” added Brachet.
“I am thrilled to be joining the commercial team of AFI KLM E&M,” said Tommaso Auriemma. “I am enthusiastically looking forward to this new mission and to meeting our customers in Asia Pacific. We are emerging from one of the most difficult and challenging times in the history of the aviation industry. In this context, clients are expecting us to support them and to build new adaptive business solutions jointly. I will do my best to live up to the trust placed in us by operators, and to fly the AFI KLM E&M flag high.”
