Air Astana Group carriers have continued their winning streak at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held during the Paris Air Show.
Full-service carrier Air Astana was named “Best Airline in Central Asia and CIS” for the 14th consecutive year and also secured the “Best Staff Service in Central Asia and CIS” title for the ninth time. Meanwhile, FlyArystan, the Group’s low-cost arm, received the “Best Low-Cost Airline in Central Asia and CIS” award for the third year running.
Commenting on the achievement, Peter Foster, CEO of Air Astana Group, said: “We are proud that our relentless efforts to deliver the very highest standards of service have once again achieved international recognition. These awards are the result of the dedicated work of our teams at both Air Astana and FlyArystan and reflect our unwavering commitment to safety, service and operational excellence.”
The Skytrax World Airline Awards, widely regarded as among the most credible indicators of passenger satisfaction in global aviation, were based on a survey conducted from September 2024 to May 2025. Responses were gathered from travellers in over 100 countries, covering more than 350 airlines worldwide. The awards process is independently funded by Skytrax, with no charges imposed on participating airlines.
Air Astana Group is the largest airline group in Central Asia and the Caucasus by revenue and fleet size. Its 60-aircraft fleet is divided between Air Astana, established in 2002 as a full-service carrier, and FlyArystan, a low-cost airline launched in 2019. The Group operates domestic, regional and international routes across Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Far East, the Middle East, India and Europe.
