Airbase, part of Trenchard Aviation Group, has won the contract to manufacture Ultra- Leather seat covers for Acro. Acro has been commissioned to provide new seats for Spirit Airlines.
Airbase, located close to London Gatwick Airport, has over 20 years’ experience of managing aircraft cabin interiors, including soft furnishings, carpets and dry cleaning. With its own cut and sew facilities on-site, the company’s expertise covers the manufacture of all types of seat covers and curtains as well as flight deck seat covers, fire containment sacks and other cabin bags and warning streamers.
“We’re delighted to be working with Acro to help them fulfil their contract with Spirit Airlines,” said Mark Faulkner, Trenchard Aviation Group’s CEO. “This new win is further evidence of how successful we are at meeting the needs of the aircraft cabin interiors industry.”
Since 2007, Acro has provided passenger airline seating and makes over 3,000 seats a month for more than 20 global clients and has received a Queen’s Award for international trade.
