Italian aircraft seat manufacturer Aviointeriors is showcasing Allegra, the full-flat business class seat for wide and narrow body aircraft.
“For the first time in Southeast Asia region, we are bringing this lie-flat seat, mainly made for A321s and the 737s, offering exceptional comfort,” Christian Battisti, Sales Manager at Aviointeriors, tells Daily News on the opening day of VIAexpo.
"Aviointeriors in its past of 50 years, has been the first to design and develop an electrical Business Class…and the high customizable attitude, together with large production processes under the same roof, are the drivers that led to the creation of the Allegra,” he explained.
Massage system and pneumatic lumbar support are some of the additional features that can be added on Allegra to make it more exclusive and unique.
“We see a lot of interest for Allegra from airlines in the region. After the pandemic, passengers now look for first-class seating and social spaces. Airline passengers are increasingly researching in-flight seat comfort prior to booking long haul full service flights, “ he added.
Allegra is also currently on display at the Airbus mockup centre in Toulouse.
