Italian engineering company Alma Sistemi is highlighting its aerospace, defense and space technologies at the ongoing Farnborough International Airshow 2026, showcasing its expertise in space systems engineering, satellite ground infrastructure and software solutions for government and commercial customers.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Rome, Alma Sistemi provides engineering, software development, integrated security solutions, and mechanical and electrical ground support equipment for aerospace, defense and space programs.
The company said its capabilities span the full lifecycle of space missions, from systems engineering and requirements analysis to the design of satellite ground support and checkout systems. It also develops Earth observation applications, satellite navigation software and image-processing technologies for civil, scientific and security missions.
Alma Sistemi works with several of Europe's leading space organizations and aerospace companies, including the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), Airbus, Thales Alenia Space and OHB, providing engineering support for satellite and space infrastructure projects.
The company said it operates under ISO 9001:2015 quality certification and complies with European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS) requirements for space engineering and mission development.
