ANA, SIA Deepen Partnership with Joint Flights

The new arrangement builds upon the airlines’ existing codeshare partnership by offering passengers expanded fare options, improved coordination of flight schedules, and smoother connectivity between the two Star Alliance members.

ANA and SIA also plan to enhance reciprocal benefits for frequent flyers. Members of ANA Mileage Club and KrisFlyer will be able to earn miles on a wider range of booking classes. In addition, both airlines are working to align their corporate travel programmes to provide a more integrated offering for business travellers.

Subject to regulatory approvals, ANA and SIA intend to expand the joint venture to include additional markets beyond Japan and Singapore, with Australia, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia identified as future areas of cooperation.

The airlines first signed a commercial joint venture agreement in January 2020. Since then, they have broadened their codeshare network significantly. ANA customers now have access to 25 destinations on the SIA network, up from 12. SIA passengers, in turn, can connect to 34 destinations on ANA’s network, including 30 domestic routes within Japan, up from nine previously.
