ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings will expand their joint venture BARQ. Both companies
entered into multiple agreements at the ongoing DIMDEX, advancing their strategic
cooperation and marking a new phase in their
bilateral defence collaboration. The agreements were signed by Özgür Taylan Sarı, Vice
President of ASELSAN, and BarzanGroup CEO, Mohamed Badr Al-Sadah.
As part of the agreements, ASELSAN and Barzan Holdings announced the expansion of
their joint venture,
BARQ, to include new capabilities, marking a new phase in bilateral defense industrial
cooperation.
The expanded scope of the joint venture will cover high-technology areas and selected
local
production capabilities, while advancing technology transfer, industrial know-how, and the
development of local expertise between Qatar and Türkiye.
