SMARTSHOOTER, an Israeli company, announced Monday an Asia-Pacific Customer placed an order of hundreds of SMASH 3000 Fire Control Systems.
The systems, according to SMARTSHOOTER CEO Michal Mor, will be deployed for both Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) missions and precision engagement of ground targets.
“We are proud to support our partners in the Asia-Pacific region with the most advanced fire control systems available today. This order is a testament to the operational value of the SMASH 3000 and its ability to deliver unmatched precision in today’s dynamic battlefield,” said Mor in a statement.
Mor added: “We look forward to supporting our customer's evolving operational needs, and we are confident this milestone may pave the way for additional future orders.”
After concluding their previous engagement, the new order—placed by an undisclosed client—follows an extensive evaluation and testing period, during which the customer expressed strong satisfaction with the system’s performance.
Combat-proven and in service with forces in the U.S., Israel, Europe, the UK, and other NATO members, the SMASH 3000 is the lightest handheld fire control system that provides a reliable, combat-proven hard-kill solution against drones and sUAS while significantly increasing hit probability in any combat scenario.
By leveraging artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced tracking algorithms, it enables tactical forces to detect, track, and precisely eliminate aerial and ground threats.
According to the company, SMASH technology integrates an onboard computer with AI, computer vision, and advanced algorithms to lock onto and track targets, enabling precise, timely shots. It transforms standard weapons into smart-shooting platforms that enhance accuracy, improve situational awareness, and minimize collateral damage.
Last year, the Philippine Army acquired 5,050 new Red Dot Combat Reflex Sights from SMARTSHOOTER as part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines modernization efforts. The sights were installed on T4 Taurus assault rifles, boosting the Army’s combat capabilities.
