ASL Airlines Ireland has extended its ATR support partnership with Sabena technics.

The MRO will support ASL Airlines Ireland’s four ATR 42-300F and 12 ATR 72-200F aircraft, and provide the carrier with a range of solutions that include full PBH support and pool access as well as repair and overhaul of rotable components.

“We are proud to count ASL Airlines as one of our most important European cargo operators for the past 15 years and this agreement demonstrates their confidence in the quality and efficiency of our solutions,” said Sabena technics chief operating officer Philippe Delisle. “It is a true mark of trust, especially in these challenging times.”

Sabena technics recently invested in a new 10,000 m² hangar facility in Bordeaux offering more capacity for the company’s civil and military customers. The company currently has more than 220 aircraft under PBH support.

ASL Airlines Ireland, which has its main base in Dublin, also maintains aircraft and crew bases in 10 European countries and Hong Kong. The airline operates B737 and ATR turbo prop freight services for FedEx, DHL and UPS in Europe, as well as operating seasonal European passenger flights and daily passenger flights to the US for Aer Lingus.

“ASL Airlines Ireland Ltd is pleased to join forces with Sabena technics for Rotable Component Support on our fleet of ATR aircraft,” said  ASL Airlines Ireland’s logistic manager Cormac Martin. “We look forward to working together to ensure that our customers continue to benefit from ASL’s industry leading levels of operational reliability, safety and customer’s satisfaction.”
