Assac Networks, a subsidiary of Aspis Cyber Technologies Inc., has secured a contract with a government authority in Asia to deploy its ShieldiT Black mobile security solution. The system is designed to protect sensitive data and communications in high-risk environments.
ShieldiT Black is a hardened mobile device pre-installed with security features during the manufacturing process, ensuring it is secure upon delivery. It provides encrypted communications, including secure VoIP technology for private voice and video calls, as well as end-to-end encryption for text messages, files, and media. The device also includes real-time threat detection with anti-malware capabilities, operating system vulnerability management, and motion detection to prevent unauthorised access.
The system incorporates a management platform that enables real-time monitoring and integration with existing IT infrastructures. Additional security features include a non-removable ShieldiT security application to maintain security protocols even if tampering is attempted. A secured profile for corporate applications creates an encrypted partition to isolate corporate data. Anti-UFED protection prevents unauthorised data extraction, while strict data-sharing controls limit transfers between personal and corporate applications. The system complies with international security standards and is ISO 27001 certified.
"This agreement underscores the growing demand for our advanced mobile security solutions among government entities worldwide," said Shimon Zigdon, CEO of Assac Networks. "In an era where mobile devices are a prime target for cyberattacks, ShieldiT Black provides an unparalleled level of security, ensuring that sensitive government communications remain completely protected."
Deployment of the ShieldiT Black system is expected to begin in the coming months as part of efforts to enhance the authority’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
