Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited the ADEX 2026 defense exhibition in Baku on Sept. 30, touring displays of military equipment and meeting exhibitors alongside first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
The sixth Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition and the concurrent Securex Caspian security exhibition brought together 277 companies from 30 countries at the Baku Expo Center, according to information released about the visit.

The expo center opened an additional pavilion to accommodate exhibitors. Another pavilion was dedicated to Azerbaijan’s national display for the first time, highlighting domestic weapons production and other defense capabilities.
Aliyev toured Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry stand, which featured artillery, aviation equipment and unmanned systems used by the country’s military. Azerbaijani exhibitors included AzerSilah Defense Industry Holding and Vektor Group.
International exhibitors included Türkiye’s Baykar, Aselsan, Dearsan and Roketsan; Israel’s Uvision, Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael and Elbit Systems; Italy’s Leonardo; Germany’s Rheinmetall; and Russia’s Rosoboronexport.

The exhibitions run through Oct. 2. ADEX is organized by Caspian Event Organisers with support from Azerbaijan’s defense industry and defense ministries.
