Marking the return of international airshows to Indonesia after nearly thirty years, the organiser of the Bali International Airshow 2024 has revealed the activities and ticket prices for the event’s Public Day. This highly anticipated event promises to captivate aviation enthusiasts and families with a range of thrilling activities.
"The Bali International Airshow 2024 is more than just an event; it's a celebration of Indonesia's growing influence in the aviation and aerospace sectors. We're excited to showcase the nation's innovative capabilities and make them accessible to the public during the Airshow," stated Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs.
Andy Wismarsyah, President Director of PT Inaro Tujuh Belas, remarked, "Our aim at the Bali International Airshow 2024 is to provide our visitors with a memorable experience. This event is not only designed to inspire and entertain visitors with a passion for aviation but also serves as a chance to showcase the latest technological advancements that could help contribute significantly to Indonesia's efforts to elevate our aviation sector.”
The Public Day, scheduled for Saturday, 21 September 2024, will be open to ticket holders. Attendees will have the opportunity to view over 30 military and commercial aircraft and helicopters on static display and enjoy exhilarating aerial performances, held four times daily.
Additional activities include photo competitions, aviation-themed movie screenings, interactive photo booths, meet-the-pilot sessions, and aviation-themed arts and crafts. These will take place during opening hours from 09:00 to 17:00 WITA (UTC +8). Further details of the activities will be announced in the weeks leading up to the Airshow.
Tickets for the airshow and shuttle bus are available for purchase on the Loket.com website from Thursday, 18 July to Saturday, 21 September 2024. Public Day tickets are priced at IDR 165,000 (approximately USD 10.21), with round-trip shuttle bus tickets at IDR 111,000 (approximately USD 6.87). All prices include tax. Children under 6 and seniors over 65 can enter free of charge.
