BMC, one of Türkiye’s leading manufacturers, is participating at the ongoing show, with a display of a range of land vehicles and engines developed and produced by BMC POWER.
The Turkish automotive manufacturer is showcasing its various platfprms under the umbrella of Barzan Holding at DIMDEX 2026. “This participation highlights the technological capabilities and innovative product portfolio of BMC and Barzan Holding, demonstrating the value they bring to the global defense industry, while also reinforcing their commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships on a regional and international scale,” a company official tells GBP Daily News.
BMC’s new armored vehicles and heavy engines factory located at Ankara was inaugurated in October last year. BMC-produced KIRPI and AMAZON armored vehicles are in active service with Qatar Armed Forces. The KIRPI Mine-Protected Vehicle has been sold to the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Qatar, Somalia and is also in service in Turkey. BMC’s ALTUĞ and TURAN vehicles are also attracting strong interest in the Middle East region from visitors and industry representatives due to their advanced capabilities and innovative design.
Some of the company’s newer products are the KİRPİ II 4x4 which is an improved version equipped with independent stabilization and the latest technology, ALTUĞ 8x8, which offers multi-mission capacity on a single platform with its modular roof configuration, VURAN, which fulfills its mission thanks to its different weapon strategy, and BMC POWER's 400 HP TUNA engine, 600 HP marine engine LEVEND for marine vehicles and 1500 HP BATU engine management.
