BOEING Eyes Middle East Market for T-7 Red Hawk, KC-46

Keen to further expand its vast presence in the Middle East, Boeing is showcasing its range of products, including the F-15, KC-46, T-7 advanced pilot training system, H-47 Chinook, and Airborne Early Warning & Control.

The company is also highlighting its unmanned systems such as the Integrator and ScanEagle, and its Air Power Teaming System. DiIMDEX 2022, in which more than 200 companies from about 20 countries are participating, is a major international platform for the company to highlight its diverse product portfolio that supports the region’s needs.

“Boeing is committed to continuing its nearly two-decade partnership with Qatar. Dimdex provides an important opportunity for Boeing to demonstrate that focus by highlighting our latest technology, especially as it relates to defense and security,” said Kuljit Ghata-Aura, president of Boeing Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

As part of the company’s efforts to attract international buyers for the T-7A Red Hawk, Boeing had presented the aircraft at last year’s Dubai Airshow. The all-new advanced pilot training system was designed for the U.S. Air Force to train the next generation of fighter and bomber pilots “for decades to come.”

The Boeing-Saab T-7 Red Hawk, an American/Swedish advanced jet trainer produced by Boeing in partnership with Saab, is arguably the world’s first digitally native aircraft programme. Thom Breckenridge, Boeing’s Vice President, Bombers and Fighters International Business Development, told reporters in Dubai that engineers has applied model-based engineering and advanced manufacturing and testing techniques to move from concept to first flight in just 36 months.
