Bombardier Highlights Commitment to Asia Pacific Region

: Feb 5, 2018 - : 12:49 pm

Bombardier Business Aircraft is focusing on potential orders and enhancing its customer support services at the ongoing Singapore Airshow. The Canadian airframer is displaying a Philippine Airlines Q400 regional transport aircraft that seats 86 passengers in a dual-class layout, an airBaltic CS300 aircraft, in addition to Challenger 650 and Global 6000 business jets. The Asia-Pacific region is Bombardier Commercial Aircraft’s fastest growing market.

“Asia-Pacific is a region of unmatched opportunities where Bombardier has recently gained significant momentum. The CS300 aircraft’s recent Asian commercial debut with Korean Air Lines highlights our breakthrough into the region’s fast-growing market,” said Fred Cromer, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft.

Bombardier Business Aircraft’s Singapore service centre has quadrupled its engineer and technician workforce in the past four years, with more than 2,200 customer visits. Since its opening in February 2014, the Singapore service centre has provided high-quality OEM expertise, including visits for the largest and most complex events of the aircraft lifecycle.

The Singapore service centre has successfully completed heavy maintenance inspections including 96 and 192 month inspections on Challenger aircraft, as well as 120 and the first-ever 240 month inspections on Global aircraft.

“The Singapore service centre continues to demonstrate an outstanding commitment to customer satisfaction throughout its operations and has boasted exceptional growth since its launch just a few short years ago,” said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Vice President and General Manager, Customer Experience, Bombardier Business Aircraft.
