CAE Launches Next Gen Training System

The inaugral day of the Singapore Airshow witnessed the launch of CAE’s newest pilot training system ‘CAE Rise’ with AirAsia, its longstanding partner. AirAsia will start training with CAE Rise in the in the first half of this year.

 

“We are excited today to launch CAE Rise, which will strengthen instructors’ ability to train more consistently to each airline’s culture and reality”, said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. “CAE Rise; also augments the instructors’ capability to identify pilot proficiency gaps and evolve our airline partners’ training programs to the most advanced aviation safety standards, including AQP/AQTP and Evidence-Based-Training (EBT) methodologies”.

 

CAE’s Rise makes use of state-of-the-art technology and the training system will allow instructors to objectively assess pilot competencies using live data during training sessions. Such a system will enhance the ability of AirAsia’s instructors to deliver standardized training in accordance with the airline’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
