CAE has been awarded a multi-year contract by Turkish Airlines to deliver a comprehensive suite of next-generation full-flight simulators (FFS) and flight training devices (FTD).
The contract, announced at the Farnborough International Airshow on Monday, reinforces CAE’s longstanding partnership with Türkiye’s national carrier and supports the airline’s investments in expanding its pilot training capacity through advanced simulation technologies amid one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world.
“For more than 20 years, we have worked together to support the airline's growth and evolving training needs," said said Matthew Bromberg, President and Chief Executive Officer at CAE. "Through this comprehensive fleet of Airbus and Boeing training devices, we will continue to deliver advanced, high-fidelity simulation solutions that help Turkish Airlines build pilot capacity, maintain the highest safety standards, and support its long-term ambitions.”
“As we continue to expand our fleet and global network, further strengthening our pilot training infrastructure is essential to supporting our long-term growth strategy,” said Prof. Murat Şeker, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee at Turkish Airlines. “Building on our long-standing collaboration with CAE, the addition of these advanced training devices will enhance our ability to prepare pilots across multiple fleet types with the highest levels of safety, consistency, and operational excellence.”
CAE will deliver five full‑flight simulators and two flight training devices, with option for two additional FFSs, including: Two A321neo full‑flight simulators, two Boeing 787 full‑flight simulators, an A350 full‑flight simulator, and two A350 Level 1 flight training devices.
