Camero-Tech (Camero), an Israeli company specialising in radar-based imaging systems, will showcase its XAVER series of through-wall imaging radar at several upcoming international exhibitions. These systems are designed to detect live objects behind walls, assisting tactical and rescue operations. They can also be used in disaster scenarios to locate survivors in collapsed buildings.
The XAVER 100 is a handheld device that detects the presence of people, their movement direction, and their distance from a wall. The XAVER 400, a compact system, provides real-time data on live and static objects within a structure from up to 20 metres away.
The XAVER LR40 is a long-range radar designed for both urban and rural environments. It can detect live objects behind walls at distances of 50 metres or more, gathering real-time information while keeping operators at a safe distance.
The XAVER 1000, the latest addition to the XAVER range, features real-time 3D imaging and AI-based tracking, distinguishing between adults, children, and animals at distances exceeding 40 metres. Designed for military, law enforcement, and search-and-rescue operations, it can be operated by a single user with the push of a button.
Additionally, the Camero Search & Rescue Kit includes two XAVER 100 units, one XAVER 400, and supporting equipment for continuous operation in disaster zones.
"Camero’s systems are widely deployed by leading military, law enforcement, and search-and-rescue teams in more than 50 countries worldwide," said Amir Beeri, CEO of Camero. "The XAVER family delivers significant capabilities in information gathering, anti-terror activities, hostage rescue, anti-narcotics operations, and disaster response. Our participation in these exhibitions reflects Camero-Tech’s commitment to providing advanced solutions for tactical and rescue forces."
Camero-Tech will present its products at IDEX, taking place from 17-21 February 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE; Enforce Tac, scheduled for 24-25 February 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany; and Disasters Expo USA, set for 5-6 March 2025 in Miami, USA.
The XAVER systems comply with international safety standards for human exposure to radiation.
Founded in 2004 and based in Israel, Camero-Tech Ltd. develops and manufactures radar-based imaging solutions for government and commercial clients. It is part of the SK Group, a defence and security conglomerate that includes Israel Weapons Industries (IWI) and other companies.
