Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions has announced its intention to acquire 901D Holdings. The acquisition is expected to close this month, subject to the receipt of regulatory approval and other closing conditions.
901D is a leading designer and manufacturer of mission-critical integrated electronic systems, subsystems and ruggedized shipboard enclosure solutions supporting every major U.S. Navy platform. The addition of 901D’s product portfolio will enhance Curtiss-Wright’s position in the market for ruggedised shipboard enclosures and electronic subsystems.

Founded in 1999, 901D provides complete design, analysis, integration and testing of MIL-SPEC subsystems and ruggedized COTS products. 901D’s products include qualified electronic system cabinets, modular console and workstation designs that support a wide array of surface ship and submarine . 901D is headquartered in Airmont, New York, and has approximately 85 employees.
