Deutsche Aircraft has appointed Patricia Ferrari as Vice President of Supply Chain. She will oversee the company’s supply chain operations, working with strategic partners to maintain quality and efficiency while advancing sustainable aviation. Her appointment follows the departure of Maximilian D. Fahr, to whom the company has expressed its appreciation for his contributions and best wishes for the future.
Ferrari joined Deutsche Aircraft in January 2022 as Head of Procurement and became Director of Supply Chain in 2023. Since May 2024, she has served as Interim Vice President, overseeing supplier onboarding for the D328eco programme and coordinating operations that have led to cost reductions, improved supplier performance, and regulatory compliance.
Originally from Brazil, Ferrari holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering and Materials from the University of São Carlos and a Master’s degree in Production Engineering. She began her career at Embraer in 1999 as a Process Development Engineer before transitioning to supply chain management in 2004. She played a key role in supplier development and contracting for Embraer’s Phenom 100 and 300, Praetor jets, and E-Jets E2. Between 2014 and 2018, she served as Vice President of Shared Services and later as Vice President of Supply Chain until December 2020. Before joining Deutsche Aircraft, she was Managing Director of Embraer’s Landing Gear Division in São Paulo.
Ferrari has experience in large manufacturing organisations, focusing on procurement, negotiation, global sourcing, and policy implementation.
Commenting on her appointment, Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, said, “Our partners and suppliers are essential to our journey toward successful and sustainable production. They play a crucial role in our industrial setup, which will ultimately support the series assembly of the D328eco in Leipzig. Patricia has demonstrated excellent leadership skills as well as proactive and practical acumen, so we are delighted to appoint her as the official Vice President of Supply Chain.”
Ferrari expressed her enthusiasm for the role, stating, “This is a pivotal moment as we continue to grow our business and prepare for the manufacturing of the D328eco. I look forward to collaborating with outstanding professionals as we strive for sustainable and intelligent regional aviation and advance the turboprop revolution. A strong network of reliable partners is essential on this journey.”
