Ametek MRO Drake Air has expanded its capabilities to include the design, manufacture and repair of Aerospace Heat Transfer components through its Drake Air facility, based in Tulsa, OK.
As a vertically integrated and AS9100/9110-approved facility, Drake Air has the capability to design and manufacture a variety of aluminum, stainless, and Inconel heat transfer components for a number of fixed wing and rotorcraft applications.
“We are pleased to bring this outstanding capability to our OEM customers, whether the opportunity is a new design, build-to-print or out-of-production spares manufacturing. We are confident our cost profile, speed to market, and attention to customer service will be an industry game changer for the next project or even a current program,” said Stephen Pollard, Vice President Business Development for Ametek MRO Midwest.
“It is a very exciting time for us at Ametek MRO and Drake Air specifically,” said David Bentley, Divisional Vice President and Business Unit Manager for Ametek MRO Midwest. “We are aligned to exceed our customers’ expectations across the enterprise. We do this through our investment in the Quality Managements System and the AS9100/9110 framework. We also do it through our engineering capabilities to execute preliminary design reviews, customer design reviews, and military SAR packages that deliver first articles and production. Furthermore, we are uniquely positioned to not only meet the most stringent customer requirements, but we also believe we are well positioned to become the industry’s one-stop shop for all heat transfer needs.”
Drake Air specializes in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heat transfer components. These components include heat exchangers, precoolers, oil coolers, and fuel heaters for all types of commercial, regional, general aviation, military, and rotor wing aircraft.
