DSA 2020 & NATSEC Asia 2020 which was originally scheduled to be held from 20 – 23 April at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur has now been postponed to 24 – 27 August 2020.
The announcement was made by the organisers, DSA Exhibition And Conference Sdn Bhd, in cooperation with the Malaysian Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
“We extend our sincere and heartfelt sympathies to all those who have been affected and hope that the rescheduled dates will ensure DSA 2020 and NATSEC Asia 2020 continue to serve as an integral platform to encourage foreign technology exchange and partnerships, as well as enhance cooperation to strengthen national defence and security,” said Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of DSA Exhibition & Conference Sdn Bhd.
“As the safety and needs of our customers are our priorities, this decision was taken after careful consideration and in close consultation with our key stake holders, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence, the Malaysian Ministry of Home Affairs and the Malaysian Armed Forces. Considering the constantly evolving COVID-19 situation which has caused global travel restrictions and disruption, we feel that holding the event on the new dates will create a better opportunity for participants of DSA 2020 & NATSEC Asia 2020 to get better returns on their investments,” a release from the organisers informed.
