Dubai Airshow will Showcase Cybersecurity, AI and Robotics

Companies are expected to showcase technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, cybersecurity, touchless solutions, 5G, robotics, and automation at the Dubai Airshow that will take place at Dubai World Central (DWC) from Nov. 14-18 this year.

With passengers will demand a smoother, touchless experience at airports, airports and airlines have been using new technologies to enhance safety, operations, productivity and profitability.  An example is Emirates, which has made its  32 self-check-in and bag drop kiosks at Dubai International (DXB) completely touchless. Etihad Airways and SITA recently conducted a trial on the use of facial recognition technology to authenticate crew members.

Among the highlights of the airshow will be discussions on AI, 5G, and cybersecurity. A large number companies from the Middle East and other regions are expected to attend.
