EDGE and Baykar have signed two agreements at the SAHA 2026 defence exhibition in Istanbul to expand cooperation on UAV weapons integration and joint marketing activities.
The first agreement, signed by Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE, and Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baykar, covers support services for the integration and demonstration of EDGE’s AL TARIQ precision-guided munitions on the Bayraktar AKINCI unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV).
The AL TARIQ family includes all-weather, day/night, long-range precision-guided munitions designed for multiple mission profiles.
The second agreement, signed by Murat Kilinc, Business Development Director at Baykar, and Yousef Al Blooshi, Senior Sales Manager at EDGE, establishes a commercial framework allowing both companies to market and offer products from each other’s portfolios to customers.

The agreements build on earlier cooperation between the two companies, including the integration of the DESERT STING 16 guided-glide weapon onto the Bayraktar TB2 UAV.
