EDGE Group will present a wide array of integrated defence systems and solutions at the International Defence and Security Exhibition of Spain (FEINDEF), held from 12 to 14 May at IFEMA in Madrid.
Held biennially and supported by Spain’s Ministry of Defence, the event serves as a platform for EDGE to expand its presence across Europe and engage with regional defence and security stakeholders.
Participating in the exhibition for the first time, EDGE will highlight its portfolio of multi-domain technologies, ranging from land systems and aerial platforms to secure communications, electronic warfare, precision-guided munitions, and surveillance technologies.
Miles Chambers, Vice President – International Business Development at EDGE, said:
“FEINDEF offers a vital opportunity to strengthen our relationships with international industry and government stakeholders, explore new avenues for collaboration, and showcase the full scope of our advanced, multi-domain solutions. As we continue to expand our presence across Europe and beyond, we remain focused on delivering integrated, next-generation capabilities tailored to our existing and potential customers' evolving operational needs. We are delighted to be exhibiting at FEINDEF for the first time in Spain, a country which holds significant importance for EDGE, both culturally and through our existing commercial partnerships.”
Among the aerial systems on display will be the SHADOW 25 and SHADOW 50, jet-powered loitering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) designed for rapid and precise strikes on fixed targets. Also being exhibited is the HT-100 long-range vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAV from ANAVIA, alongside the SKYNEX missile launcher unit and the SKYKNIGHT air defence system, both aimed at countering conventional and asymmetric aerial threats.
In the land systems segment, EDGE will feature the AJBAN 452A 4x4 light patrol vehicle, designed for roles including internal security, troop transport, and artillery observation.
Within the electronic warfare domain, EDGE will present the SKYSHIELD counter-UAS solution. Housed in a compact environmental cabinet, it offers fixed-site protection using frequency jamming and spoofing technologies.
Also on display is BORDERSHIELD, an autonomous surveillance system developed to provide persistent situational awareness for border security operations.
EDGE will further showcase a range of secure communications equipment under the KATIM brand. This includes the KATIM GATEWAY 9001-R, a ruggedised platform for network encryption in mobile and harsh settings; the compact GATEWAY 9001, suitable for static or office-type environments; and the GATEWAY 9011, a high-performance platform featuring tamper detection and lifecycle protection. The KATIM X3M, a secure smartphone designed for critical field operations, will also be featured.
In the precision munitions segment, EDGE will highlight AL TARIQ—a precision-guided tactical weapon capable of engaging stationary, mobile, or relocatable targets, even in GPS-denied environments.
Electro-optical systems and surveillance radars supporting various operational needs will complete the display.
EDGE’s participation in FEINDEF 2025 underscores its focus on providing mission-tailored defence technologies and its intent to build further strategic ties within the European market.
