EDGE is showcasing a new range of advanced electronic warfare (EW), radar, and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) systems at the ongoing show.
Among the newly unveiled systems, EDGE is introducing the NEMUS family of radars, which include multi-threat active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars designed for various intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) operations. The company is also launching the TAWAQ family of ground radars, which offer advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for enhanced operational efficiency.
EDGE is also presenting its MIRSAD family of EO/IR systems, which are designed for high-precision surveillance and targeting across air, naval, and ground domains. The systems feature advanced imaging, tracking, and laser designation technologies to improve situational awareness and effectiveness in complex environments.
On the electronic warfare front, EDGE is unveiling two variants of the GPS PROTECT GNSS anti-jamming system: the GPS PROTECT-4 and GPS PROTECT-8. Both systems utilise advanced digital signal processing and array antenna technology to protect GNSS receivers from radio-frequency interference. Furthermore, EDGE is introducing two variants of the SKYSHIELD counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS), the SKYSHIELD-N (Naval) and SKYSHIELD-T (Trailer-mounted), which are designed to identify and jam the command-and-control channels of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) within the GNSS spectrum.
Making its debut at IDEX 2025, EDGE is also unveiling BORDERSHIELD, a comprehensive surveillance system designed for border security. BORDERSHIELD features AI-driven automatic detection capabilities for UAS, personnel, and vehicles up to 15km away. It integrates a high-power cellular system supporting various frequency bands (GMS, UTMS, LTE, and 5G NSA), a thermal optical camera, a high-resolution radar, and a command-and-control system for real-time situational awareness.
EDGE’s expansion into EW, radar, and EO/IR technologies is supported by its newly formed Technology & Innovation (T&I) cluster.
