ELT Group is showcasing its solutions for protecting naval and maritime assets, enhancing power projection at sea, and contributing significantly to maritime domain awareness at the ongoing IMDEX.
In the Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) domain, the Group has over 70 years of expertise and is a world leader in surveillance, protection and intelligence operations in the naval domain, with a portfolio of state-of-the-art technologies capable of integrating multiple capabilities into defined software systems. The systems and equipment are entirely designed, developed, and manufactured in-house and are all designed to be exportable.
ELT Group has a well-established tradition in the naval sector, with a presence on key platforms such as the Franco-Italian Horizon and FREMM class ships, the NFH-90 naval helicopter, as well as numerous projects in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions.
The Group is continuing to work on strengthening its technology in the area of the unmanned platforms both in terms of EW payloads for UAS and of countering mini-micro and small drones. The latest generation of EW Payloads for UAS is ELT/1000, allowing higher flexibility in the operational scenarios.
ELT’s ADRIAN Counter UAS product line is flexible and can be customized to suit customer needs according to different scenarios and environments. It is suitable both for naval units as well as maritime infrastructures and land applications. ADRIAN uses multispectral radar, optronics and acoustic sensors to detect, identify and counter drones.
ELT’s EWS suite offers a wide range of countermeasures in the RF band to cover all types of threats, which can be further extended to the InfraRed spectrum through its DIRCM system for Naval application.
The triple-band DIRCM (Direct Infrared Counter Measure) belongs to ELT’s IR countermeasure system family and provides reliable and effective protection for marine helicopters and naval platforms against surface-to-air missile threats (MANPADS - Man Portable Air Defence Systems).
The Group’s naval version provides anti-ship missile defence and asymmetric warfare capabilities against small and short-range EO/IR guided missile threats, increasing the unit's survivability in littoral, brown water and amphibious operations.
