ELT Group is showcasing its electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) and command and control (C2) solutions in the 2025 edition of DSEI Japan. The event provides a platform for the company to highlight its approach to evolving defence and security challenges through advanced electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) and command and control (C2) solutions.
With over 70 years of experience in the EMS domain, ELT Group delivers capabilities across all operational environments—air, land, sea, cyber, and space—emphasising interoperability across manned, unmanned, legacy, and next-generation platforms. Its technology portfolio includes integrated passive and active solutions across radar, communications, and infrared bands, as well as counter-UAV systems for protecting critical infrastructure.
In the aerospace sector, ELT Group is a key player in the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), contributing to the ISANKE & ICS domain. The company is also involved in the Eurofighter Typhoon programme via its role in the EuroDASS consortium, which provides the aircraft's latest-generation self-protection suite aimed at extending operational lifespan and enhancing future compatibility.
For naval operations, ELT Group offers a comprehensive Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) suite, combining ESM-ELINT, CESM-COMINT, ECM, DIRCM, and counter-UAV technologies. These systems, integrated with advanced EMSO C2 solutions, support maritime domain awareness and enable coordination with both onboard and off-board assets—manned or unmanned—for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and self-protection missions. The solutions are applicable across platforms including surface ships, submarines, helicopters, and maritime patrol aircraft (MPAs).
In the land domain, ELT Group provides ELINT/COMINT and ECM systems integrated with C2 architectures, as well as AI-driven counter-UAV capabilities. These can be deployed in fixed, mobile, or on-the-move configurations, including radarless options designed to reduce detectability.
The company is also expanding its efforts in the space sector, recognising its growing strategic importance. ELT Group has developed satellite-based signal intelligence (SIGINT) systems and cybersecurity solutions to safeguard satellite communications and data links, both between satellites and with ground stations.
By combining EMS expertise with cyber capabilities, ELT Group is building a portfolio of multi-domain, multi-layer Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) solutions. These are designed to defend networks and assets through coordinated EMS and cyber monitoring, early warning, and context-aware responses.
