Italian defence electronics company ELT Group is showcasing its latest electronic warfare, counter-drone and cyber-electromagnetic technologies at Eurosatory 2026, underscoring the growing importance of electromagnetic spectrum dominance in modern military operations.
Increasingly complex battlefields require armed forces to operate seamlessly across land, air, sea, space and cyber domains, with electronic warfare playing a key role in intelligence gathering, threat detection and battlefield decision-making, the company said.
Among the systems on display is ELT's EMSO C2 command-and-control platform, designed to coordinate electromagnetic spectrum operations and help military forces manage, protect and deny access to the spectrum during combat missions.
The company is also presenting its Tactical Electronic Warfare System (TEWS), a modular platform that combines communications intelligence, electronic intelligence and jamming capabilities. The system is designed to detect, identify and disrupt enemy radar and communications networks while integrating with wider battlefield management systems.
As militaries place greater emphasis on countering unmanned threats, ELT is exhibiting its ADRIAN counter-drone system and the KARMA passive mobile counter-UAV platform. ADRIAN integrates radar, electro-optical, infrared, acoustic and radio-frequency sensors to detect and identify drones, while cyber and radio-frequency capabilities developed with Italian cyber specialist CY4GATE are designed to counter increasingly sophisticated unmanned systems.
Also on display is the ELT 1000 radar electronic support measure system for Class II unmanned aerial vehicles, providing electromagnetic surveillance capabilities including the detection, classification and geolocation of radar emissions in support of land and maritime operations.
ELT is also highlighting its Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) capabilities and an Electronic Warfare Simulation Lab that demonstrates surveillance, threat identification and counter-drone operations in simulated battlefield environments.
