BAA Training and ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile) have joined forces to prepare professional pilots. According to the agreement, BAA Training becomes a partner for ATPL Integrated theoretical training provided to ENAC students.
ENAC providing a broad of range aeronautics and aviation training is also known for its training of ATPL and MPL pilots for airlines including Air France, Transavia, China Eastern, China Southern, Lao Airline, Oman Air and Royal Air Maroc and prepares 180 Airline pilots and 75 instructors yearly.
With the steadily growing student-pilot number BAA Training has been chosen to become a partner to deliver part of pilot training.
Certified as an Approved Training Organization (ATO), and counting 20 years of experience in aviation training BAA Training has been providing Ab Initio training since 2009. Operating in Lithuania and Spain, the Academy provides Cadet training for such airlines as Turkish Airlines, Wizz Air, Avion Express, SmartLynx and others. Approved by French Civil Aviation Authority under ENAC ATO, BAA Training will start providing pilot training for first ENAC Training at the beginning of 2020.
”To address its Airline customer’s needs, ENAC has developed a network of flight school partners able to deliver pilot training program in accordance with ENAC premium standards. In this context, ENAC is very pleased to announce a new partnership with BAA Training ATO for the theoretical training phase. BAA Training is a dynamic and efficient flight school and Vilnius facilities and organization already reach high level standard. ENAC and BAA Training worked together and received the approbation by the French Authority. ENAC is confident in this partnership and its future development”, comments Thierry de Basquiat, Director of ENAC flight school.
“We are pleased to partner with ENAC to meet the industry booming demand for highly qualified pilots. This partnership is built on the same values we share: safety, competency and efficiency in pilot training. By having a long-time experience and knowledge in pilot training, we are ready to deliver high quality training solutions to ENAC. We believe that synergy with ENAC will deliver even more talented aviation professionals to the market”, comments Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of BAA Training.
Aviation experts agree that in order to accommodate the growing aviation traffic, the global aviation fleet will more than double and will reach the number of over 47 thousands aircraft worldwide by 2038. Accordingly the demand for new pilots over the period of 20 years reaches 800,000. 76% of the new aircraft deliveries will consist of single-aisle aircraft. It is estimated that in order to operate one aircraft 8-12 pilots are needed.
