ENAV Asia Pacific Gets High Level Visit

The Asia-Pacific unit of Italy-based ENAV S.p.A. received a visit from the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad at the ongoing LIMA. Tun Mohamad expressed a keen interest in the activities of the company, with senior company officials at the ENAV Asia Pacific stand.

ENAV Asia Pacific has been assisting the ministry of civil aviation and the Ministry of Transport with project management and technical services on the new Kuala Lumpur Air Traffic Control Centre (KL ATCC) at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Sabah-Sarawak.

The KL ATCC is one of the biggest control centres in the world with 24 sectors.

The company has also acquired the Air Navigation Division of IDS – Ingegneria dei Sistemi SpA.
