AFI KLM E&M and Equair have signed a new engine maintenance agreement for the Ecuadorian flag carrier’s fleet of 737NG aircraft.
The contract follows on from an initial agreement providing Component support for the same fleet. The agreement involves servicing and repair of the 6 CFM56-7B engines powering Equair’s 3 Boeing 737-700s.
As an MRO whose parent airline operates the 737NG, AFI KLM E&M has acquired an in-depth knowledge of -7B engines, from both a technical and operational standpoint.
