Esterline’s Mason product team has been awarded a contract to supply the Throttle Quadrant Assembly on Textron Aviation’s new Cessna Denali single-engine turboprop.
The company will build-to-print flight control devices for the aircraft, it was announced at the ongoing Farnborough International Airshow.
The Cessna Denali is expected to achieve FAA certification in 2020. This contract win is in addition to an existing contract with Esterline, which has been extended.
“This win to supply the throttle quadrant assembly follows Esterline’s recent award for providing the control wheel for the Cessna Denali aircraft, an original design by Mason,” said David Tessier, President of Esterline Mason. “We attribute our success to our level of engagement and responses to technical questions and experience, all of which convinced the Cessna Denali sourcing team that Esterline’s Mason presented the best solution.”
