Vojensky technicky ustav, s.p. (VTU), the Czech Republic’s military technical institute, has selected Exail to provide Advans inertial navigation systems (INS) for the country’s land defence forces. The decision follows an international tender process.
The systems will be installed on various military platforms to improve navigation in environments where GPS signals may be unreliable or unavailable. The aim is to enhance positioning accuracy and operational effectiveness.
Exail developed these systems based on its experience in navigation technologies, with previous applications in defence operations. The company will collaborate with VTU to ensure successful integration.
“We are pleased to work with Exail to enhance the capabilities of the Czech land defense forces,” said VTU representative. “The Advans Series INS meets our need for a highly reliable, precise system that will enable the Czech forces to operate effectively in the most demanding environments.”
