FL Technics Indonesia, a subsidiary of Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics, has been certified by the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul services of the Airbus A320neo on Thursday (Aug. 25).

The certification will enable the company to provide heavy maintenance services such as C-Check, 6 and 12-year checks to both CFM LEAP 1-A and Pratt & Whitney PW110G powered Airbus A320neo aircraft in its base of operation at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

“FL Technics Indonesia strives to continuously improve the provision of better and more complete aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities to customers from airlines and leasing companies,” said Martynas Grigas, President Director of FL Technics Indonesia.

“With the addition of this new capability, we will seek to expand investments in equipment, training, and certification to support our customers who have maintenance, repair, and overhaul needs for the A320neo fleet such as TransNusa, Bamboo Airways, and VietJet.”

He further added that over the years, FL Technics Indonesia has performed maintenance on the previous generation Airbus A320 Family, plus the Boeing 737 Classic & New Generation.

Earlier this year, FL Technics Indonesia launched its aircraft line maintenance operation at Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The company also has expressed its plan to expand its MRO capabilities in Bali in the near future.

As part of Cyprus-based Avia Solutions Group, FL Technics oversees MRO facilities and/or has representative offices in Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Canada, Indonesia, Thailand, and China.
