FN – which includes FN Herstal, FN UK and FN America – has brought to DSEI 2025 a wide range of solutions.
On display are the FN EVOLYS Ultralight Machine Gun and the Winchester SX4 Shotgun, which together enhance close combat capabilities and provide 3D protection, safeguarding modern dismounted troops against threats from all directions.
The FN EVOLYS, developed in 5.56x45mm NATO and 7.62x51mm NATO calibres, combines the firing capabilities of a belt-fed machine gun with the ergonomics and balance of an assault rifle. The Winchester SX4™ semi-automatic shotgun has become the weapon of choice for C-UAS operations, engaging small airborne targets such as drones.
The FN MULTI WEAPON MOUNT (MWM) is also featured at DSEI 2025. Its multi-calibre
and multi-mission configurations make the modular, versatile system – designed to integrate legacy, current, and next-generation FN machine guns – capable of integrating all types of land and naval carriers for use in support and auto-protection missions.
The FN MWM comes as a full package with addedvalue items, including the FN SMARTCORE shot counter and associated software, which track the weapon’s digital lifecycle for optimized and simplified maintainability, as well as the FN ELITY LITE, a
state-of-the-art laser range finder, alongside an IR illuminator and laser pointer. The naval variant, the FN SEA MWM, has been tested and qualified for use in extreme maritime conditions.
