Turkish defence firm Havelsan exhibited about 30 products and solutions at the recently concluded IDEF’21, including the unveiling of new capabilities such as Digital Troops and the announcement of the Airborne Early Warning and Control System “Kartal.”

At the event, Havelsan hosted a large number of high-level delegations from five continents and nearly 60 countries, many of them led by either the Ministers of Defense, Deputy Ministers of Defense, Chief of Forces or Force Commanders. The company showcased its high technology, software-intensive original products and solutions in fields of command control and defense technologies; simulation, autonomous and platform technologies, and homeland security and cybersecurity to the delegations as well as other participants.

Developed within the scope of the swarm algorithm, the company’s Digital Troops involves joint operations by unmanned autonomous aerial and ground vehicles. The company introduced the major elements of Digital Troops, the Armed Autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle Barkan, Unmanned Autonomous Aerial Vehicle Baha, and Micro Reconnaissance UAV System M6, to participants at the event.

Havelsan also demonstrated competencies in naval command, control, and combat management systems at IDEF’21. Besides the public announcement of Kartal, the company also provided participants information about the Peace Eagle Project, in which it plays an important role.

Having developed various technologies for surface and underwater platforms, Havelsan unveiled the Submarine Combat Operations Center (SCOC) concept design, prepared with 3D modeling, at IDEF’21. The company also signed many new agreements during the event to expand collaborations and introduce new technologies.

The company, which was the Digital Communication Sponsor of IDEF’21, ensured a contact-free fair experience to participants. Participants were provided the opportunity to meet with customers who could not attend the fair via Havelsan Diyalog. It also made the data storage and sharing platform “Havelsan Drive” available to users. The Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Information System developed by Havelsan was positioned in certain locations of the event venue to detect CBRN threats and dangers.
