GA Telesis has signed a new long-term agreement, valued at US$27 million, with China Express to overhaul landing gear.
The agreement has a five (5) year term and covers the repair and overhaul of the entire fleet of CRJ900 landing gear. The deal covers 35 aircraft over five years, and includes a leasing component that was created and provided by the Inventory Leasing Group from within the GA Telesis Ecosystem.
“With this agreement, the company has strategically positioned itself as a provider of worldwide landing gear MRO overhauls,” said Pastor Lopez, President of GA Telesis MRO Services. “Because of the breadth of services GA Telesis provides, we were able to create customized solutions for the customer that enhances its operations beyond landing gear.”
GA Telesis serves over 3,000 customers including airlines, OEMs, MROs and suppliers worldwide with 31 leasing, sales, distribution and MRO operations in 19 countries. China Express Airlines, China’s first private regional airline, is a Guizhou-based airline providing domestic services using a fleet of Bombardier CRJ-series aircraft since March 2007.
