Gulfstream Aerospace has announced that Gulfstream G500 and Gulfstream G600 will make their first appearance
at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) airshow i Dubai from Dec. 10-12. Other Gulfstream aircraft at the show will be Gulfstream G280, Gulfstream G550 and Gulfstream G650ER.
The G500 can link Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with Cape Town, South Africa, at Mach 0.90. The aircraft, which earned its type and production certificates from the Federal Aviation Administration in July, has now received validation of its type certificate from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, clearing the way for Gulfstream to deliver the aircraft to the country. The G600 is capable of connecting New York with Dubai at Mach 0.87, and the G650ER can connect Dubai to New York, São Paulo or Sydney at Mach 0.87.

The G500 entered service in September and has amassed nearly 30 city-pair speed records. The G600 is slated to enter service in 2019.
