Turkish defense technology company HAVELSAN plans to display air, land and maritime unmanned systems at ADEX 2026 in Baku, alongside a simulator for training tank crews.
The Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition runs from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 at the Baku Expo Center. HAVELSAN said its display at stand 2A 110 will include the BAHA drone, BARKAN ground vehicle and SANCAR unmanned surface vessel.
BAHA is a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Its ability to take off without a runway gives operators more options for deploying it. HAVELSAN said the Turkish Land Forces have accepted BAHA into their inventory.
BARKAN is a remotely controlled ground vehicle with autonomous mission functions. It can carry equipment for surveillance and patrols, including missions that could put personnel at risk. HAVELSAN said operators retain authority over its use.
SANCAR is an armed unmanned vessel designed for surveillance, port and base protection, and mine countermeasures. The company said it has completed acceptance and live-fire trials.
HAVELSAN will also show a tank simulator that allows crews to practice individual tasks and coordination in repeatable scenarios. The company said the training setup can be adapted to different tank models.
Beyond the equipment on display, HAVELSAN plans to discuss its software work with Azerbaijani users. It said it has delivered parts of its Air Force Information Command and Control System to support mission planning, information sharing and coordination.
The company said its KOVAN personnel management software is also in use in Azerbaijan, marking the platform’s first export. HAVELSAN will use the exhibition to discuss potential work in command and control, video analysis and organizational software.
The company did not announce new contracts tied to ADEX 2026 or identify prospective customers for the systems on display.
